Ongoing Programs
M.I.S.T

All year long B'nai Israel Community Day School is joining with Meridian Behavioral Healthcare to support the MIST Program.  MIST (Mothers in Intensive Support) is a residential program for mothers of newborns or in their third trimester with mental health and substance abuse issues.  The year long program allows the newborns to stay with their mothers while they receive treatment. The Day School has an ongoing drive to collect diapers, wipes and formula that go directly to the mothers.

St. Francis House
Throughout the year we partner with St. Francis House, the local homeless shelter, to provide birthday boxes to children staying in their facilities. Each month, a different class takes turns making a cake and cards for a child who has a birthday. The cake and cards are delivered along with party goods and a goodie bag to the family.
RMHC
We also partner with Ronald McDonald House to provide birthday boxes to children staying in their facilities. Each month, a different class takes turns making a cake and cards for a child who has a birthday. The cake and cards are delivered along with party goods and a goodie bag to the family.
Helping Hands
Parents of children enrolled at B'nai Israel also engage in community services. Each month a different class is responsible for preparing and delivering dinner to Helping Hands.
